City of Aarhus – Aarhus, Denmark

Fluidtime and the City of Aarhus are working on the development of a test and demonstration area for transport companies and mobility service providers. The overall objective of the project is to support collective forms of transport in order to reduce environmental pollution and CO2 emissions and to solve congestion problems in Aarhus. As part of the public-private innovation project, Fluidtime is responsible for operating a MaaS platform that supports both public and private transport operators (public transport operators, car-sharing companies, taxi companies, etc.) and citizens using public or private transport.

The city of Aarhus and the Aarhus business region (a cooperation of 12 municipalities in eastern Jutland) are the clients of the project.

  • Fluidtime will build the MaaS platform based on the Software-as-a-Service FluidHub technology
  • In the first phase, the carpooling providers GoMore and Zify France and the local transport operator Midttrafik are to be integrated to enable an intermodal connection between the transport providers.

Time schedules

  • The pilot phase will start in the second half of 2018
  • Planned end: December 2019

Fluidtime services

Fluidtime is responsible for the development of a multimodal mobility platform which is able to collect, process and integrate all relevant mobility data of different transport providers. The platform must ensure that the data is accessible to other services and that they can process them in the same way.
