Perron – Vienna, Austria

Perron is a research project aimed at developing a navigation service customised for pedestrians. Previous solutions for pedestrian routing were based on road maps for drivers, with walkways only partially integrated. Perron creates autonomous, customised solutions and a navigation specifically adapted to the needs of pedestrians. To display pedestrian navigation in more detail and more realistically, Perron does not only optimise data generation on walkways and crossings, but integrates the data directly into the route navigation.
