qando – Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Graz, Klagenfurt

The qando app provides route planning for public transport, mobile timetable information in real time and mobile ticket purchase via the Wiener Linien app or for qando Salzburg directly in the app. These features make the app the perfect companion for daily travels on public transport. qando launched 2008 in Vienna and St. Pölten, 2014 in Klagenfurt, since 2015 it is also available in Graz, Salzburg and Linz. The different qando versions are largely identical in regards to functional range and design. This offers distinct benefits for passengers using qando in more than one city. With up to 15 million queries per month in all participating cities, qando is one of the most successful Austrian apps.

Fluidtime services

qando server and client components are made by Fluidtime. Together with Wiener Linien, Fluidtime developed functional range, menu navigation and qando’s characteristic visual design. Fluidtime has operated the service since going live in Vienna in 2008 and assists qando users with 1st and 2nd level support. Taking user feedback into account, qando has constantly been developed by Fluidtime and Wiener Linien. Designing additional functions and improving usability and design have been paramount. In 2014 Fluidtime adapted qando for the cities Klagenfurt, Graz, Salzburg and Linz. Since 2015, Fluidtime has been running all Austrian qando services.
