DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)
Place of employment: 1070 Vienna; 38.5 hours / full time; effective immediately; permanent
Your Tasks:
- Design, implement and maintain automation tools, processes and infrastructure to optimize the agile development cycle.
- Design and develop automated tools and scripts to enable repeatable processes such as deployment, testing, monitoring and scaling.
- Developing and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines to enable developers to regularly integrate and deploy code into the production environment.
- Build monitoring systems to continuously monitor the performance of applications and systems. When problems occur, analyze data, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
- Work closely with developers and quality assurance.
- Actively contribute to the architecture of a complex software solution.
- Become a valued member of a team of dedicated software developers in a company known for its supportive and friendly working environment
The job is perfect for you if you bring the following:
- Solid IT knowledge (HTL, FH, University)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of agile software development and/or DevOps
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, …)
- Experience with various build and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gradle, Fastlane, …)
- Experience with architecture, maintenance and operation of container and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Docker Swarm, …)
- Experience in maintaining, deploying and monitoring web services and database systems
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Shell, Python, Ruby, …)
- Interest in current trends and long-term, continuous development of sustainable products
- Ability to work in a team, willingness to develop, sense of responsibility and reliability
- You value quality and accuracy, which is reflected in the way you work
- You like to take the initiative and drive issues that are important to you
- You are open to different opinions and enjoy working as part of a team
Ideally, you also have:
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Experience with the operation of Java services
- Willingness for occasional on-call duty for level 2 support (extra compensation)
