Place of employment: 1070 Vienna; 25 to 38.5 hours / part time or full time; effective immediately; permanent

Your Tasks:

  • Design, implement and maintain automation tools, processes and infrastructure to optimise the agile development cycle
  • Design and develop automated tools and scripts to enable repeatable processes such as deployment, testing, monitoring and scaling
  • Developing and optimising our CI/CD pipelines to enable developers to regularly integrate and deploy code into the production environment
  • Build monitoring systems to continuously monitor the performance of applications and systems When problems occur, analyse data, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure reliability and performance
  • Work closely with developers and quality assurance
  • Actively contribute to the architecture of a complex software solution
  • Become a valued member of a team of dedicated software developers in a company with a friendly working environment

The job is perfect for you if you bring the following:

  • Solid IT knowledge (HTL, FH, University)
  • A number of years of professional experience in the field of agile software development
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, …)
  • Experience with various build and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gradle, Fastlane, …)
  • Experience with architecture, maintenance and operation of container and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Docker Swarm, …)
  • Experience in maintaining, deploying and monitoring web services and database systems
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Shell, Python, Ruby, …)
  • Interest in current trends and long-term, continuous development of sustainable products
  • Ability to work in a team, willingness to develop, sense of responsibility and reliability
  • You value quality and accuracy, which is reflected in the way you work
  • You like to take the initiative and drive issues that are important to you
  • You are open to different opinions and enjoy working as part of a team

Ideally, you also have:

  • Infrastructure as Code experience
  • Experience with the operation of Java services
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and configuration management tools (e.g. Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack, Ansible, …)
  • Experience with Azure
  • Residence in Vienna or nearby

  • Knowledge of relational data modelling and database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL, …)
  • Knowledge of using and designing web services (e.g. REST, XML, JSON, …)
  • Experience with JPA implementations (e.g. Hibernate, …)

  • Ability to work in a team, willingness to develop, sense of responsibility and reliability
